Nonprofit Governance & Funding Structure
Global Business Bridge Society is a registered non-profit organization incorporated under the Societies Act of British Columbia, Canada (BC Registry ID: S0085369).
As a non-profit organization, Global Business Bridge Society operates on a cost-recovery and reinvestment model. Revenue generated through events and forums, membership fees, program fees, grants, donations, sponsorships, and other lawful activities is used to support the Societyâs programs, educational initiatives, community activities, operations, and other non-profit purposes.
Our work advances education and community development in entrepreneurship, innovation, international business, and economic development in British Columbia and internationally. We provide educational programs, workshops, seminars, forums, mentorship and capacity-building initiatives, while supporting networking, knowledge exchange, and cross-border collaboration among entrepreneurs, professionals, and business leaders.
We have a particular focus on facilitating business connections between Canada and international markets, including emerging and high-growth markets, and creating opportunities for entrepreneurs, including women-led businesses, immigrants, newcomers, and local entrepreneurs.
Global Business Bridge Society does not distribute profits or dividends to its members or Directors. Society funds and assets are used to further its non-profit purposes. Any surplus is retained by the Society and reinvested into its programs, activities, and operations.
