Banu Gaidar is a designer and entrepreneur from Atyrau, and the founder of the Kazakh ethno-fashion brand BAY by Banu Gaidar. With over 14 years of experience in the fashion business, she began with bridal couture and traditional clothing production, and now spearheads a thriving contemporary brand taking Kazakh cultural identity to global markets.

Her core mission is weaving Kazakh cultural heritage into modern daily lifestyle, showcasing Kazakhstan to the world through high-end fashion, design, and authentic craftsmanship.

At the forum, Banu represents Kazakhstan's creative industries, fashion, and the export of cultural products. Her goal is establishing international partnerships and exploring distribution channels to introduce BAY to the North American market (Canada and the US).
